YGA discovers and nurtures double-winged role models who inspire hope for the future. For us, being double-winged means having the conscience to design projects that benefit all of humanity and the expertise to develop groundbreaking solutions to fundamental challenges.

The World Science Movement (WSM) is YGA’s largest initiative, bringing latest technology and science education to the most disadvantaged regions. It aims to inspire children to love science, nurture independent thinkers, and empower them to develop innovative solutions for global challenges.

WSM focuses on children and teenagers aged 8 to 12, ensuring they develop an early interest in science, technology, and innovation.

WSM primarily targets students in underserved communities who have limited access to science and technology education. However, it also involves volunteers, role model teachers, and science educators who contribute to its mission.

WSM provides hands-on STEM workshops, digital learning content, and access to cutting-edge technologies like AI and robotics to make science education engaging and fun.

Unlike traditional STEM programs, WSM integrates social responsibility, mentorship, and real-world problem-solving into science education, ensuring that students learn science with conscience.

WSM follows a hybrid model, combining STEM kits with an online learning portal to maximize impact. Twin STEM kits are delivered to students, and teachers are trained to facilitate lesson plans.

Yes, WSM is completely free for students and teachers. It is funded through donations and sponsorships, making science education accessible to all.

You can support WSM by volunteering, donating, or partnering with the initiative to expand its impact.

To volunteer for WSM, you must apply to the YGA Global Impact College Program and become a YGA volunteer.

YGA Global Impact College programme and Role Model Teachers Programme

The YGA Global Impact College Program brings together students from top universities worldwide who are passionate about creating social impact through science and education. Volunteers mentor disadvantaged children, develop digital science content, and engage in mentorship with YGA Alumni and Dream Partners to contribute to a better world.

You first need to attend the YGA Seminar, where you will learn about YGA’s mission and projects. After the seminar, you will submit an application form and selected candidates will be invited for an interview.

The only requirement is to be a university student at any level in the UK. YGA welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds to be a volunteer.

YGA UK moderate workshops in the schools involved to World Science Movement once in a month. These workshops are moderated by College Volunteers, who are Role Models for children.

The aim of these workshops is to bring together the children and the Role Models to promote learning from them.

The more time the College Volunteers can dedicate, the greater their responsibilities will be.

Some of our College Volunteers are offered part-time internship in business development projects of the YGA UK.

The Role Model Teachers Program is a 6-10-weeks, online, and completely free training program. Schools of participating teachers receive 5 free Twin Science Kit per school, access to digital platform and online training on how to use these kits.

In this program, teachers receive training in various subjects, ranging from curriculum-based education such as coding, robotics, and artificial intelligence to personal development, peer training, and sustainability.

The only criterium is to be passionate with STEM, and to work in a non-private school in the UK.
